Dynamic game difficulty balancing

Some games change how hard they are based on how you play. This is called dynamic difficulty balancing. It keeps the game fun and not too frustrating. The goal is to challenge you just right. Games might change enemy speed, health, or power-ups. They figure out difficulty by watching your play, monitoring your score or health. Game developers want your score to slowly increase. They might give you more weapons or weaker enemies. It shouldn't feel like the game is cheating. Some games learn about your skill level. They play just right for you. With the development if AI, games started using it to learn from your play. They keep the fun level perfect by watching you. But players shouldn't notice the game changes. Early games like Zanac (1986) tried this. Later games like Resident Evil 4 also used it secretly.
