Knowville is an educational app. Users download the app, receive an automatically generated User ID, and use the provided API to track their educations history. Progress is stored on our servers so that appropriate content can be loaded on a server. We aim to collect as little information as possible and do not require any personal data.

When you install the app, we generate a unique User ID. This ID is needed to track your progress and history. We cannot identify you personally from this ID.

When you use the app, certain interactions are stored in our database. These interactions may contain your likes, your quiz results, whether certain articles were skipped or not. We do not share the content of your interactions.

Knowville does not require registration or login to operate. You may choose to login voluntarily: in this case you will be able to pass your progress when switching devices.

5. Data Storage & Retention
Your progress data is stored on our servers until you delete it in the app or request deletion. Your generated User ID remains active as long as you use the app. You may reset or remove data by reinstalling the app or contacting us.

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect stored data from unauthorized access. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
7. Third-Party Services
Knowville does not currently use third-party analytics or ad platforms. If we introduce essential third-party services in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
