Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins are unique marine animals. They prefer warm waters near countries like India and Australia. These dolphins can grow up to 8.5 feet long. They may weigh around 500 pounds. You can spot them by their longer nose and belly spots. They mostly eat fish and squid. Often, they swim in small groups, usually under fifteen dolphins. Interestingly, dolphins in Australia use sea sponges to find food. They rub against corals to keep their skin healthy. While not endangered, they face dangers from sharks and people. Fishing nets and noisy boats can really hurt them. Some countries now stop people from keeping these dolphins for shows. Dolphins in loud areas even change their calls to communicate better.
